Welcome to the Jolliffe's family website. Please bear with us as we talk about who we are and what we do, if you
already know us really well then just skip this part, lol.
This family started the day Forrest and Helen met online back in April of 1999, and when we met for the first time face
to face the following Saturday, April 10, 1999. On June 11, 99 Forrest proposed over dinner at the revolving restaurant
overlooking Vancouver, BC, of course Helen said yes. We were married on April 8, 2000 at St. Georges United Church
in Courtenay, BC (Helen's home town and home church). On our honeymoon we travelled to Las Cabo, Mexico and had a fantastic
time. We got pregnant on our 6 month anniversary trip to the hotel that we were supposed to spend our wedding
night at but didn't (that is a very long story that I won't go into right now).
In April of 2001 Forrest was offered a fantastic job in Stony Plain, Alberta that would start in 2 weeks, which meant
that we would have less than 2 weeks to pack everything up and move to Alberta, while I was 8 months pregnant. On April
19, 2001 we watched our belongings pull out and then we got into our car and started driving to Alberta. We arrived in
our new town on April 20th, a holiday but couldn't move into our new apartment until the next day so we spent the first night
in a hotel. Two months later, on June 28th, we welcomed our darling, and very cute if you ask me, son Thomas Alfred
at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Our lives haven't been the same since but we have no complaints and
have never been happier.
That is a fast overview of our lives so far, it may seen very fast but we have had a great time together so far and are
looking forward to the future.
